***This competition for Wild Lights 2018 is now closed. Congrats to our winner, Suzi Connolle.***
TAKE A DIVE into the deep blue at Wild Lights. Ireland’s magical night-time spectacular is back at Dublin Zoo from now until January 6 with a new theme, Ocean Of Light.
This year’s cast of giant silk lanterns are inspired by the wonders of the life aquatic, with giant squid, hammerhead sharks, jellyfish, puffins and dainty seahorses all illuminated in a rainbow of vibrant colour.
Visit the zoo by night to explore the new additions, along with three more new areas: Winter Wonderland (home to Arctic favourites like polar bears), Celebrating China and The North Pole (where you’ll find this year’s 16-metre high silk Christmas tree).
Visitors will once again have the chance to be wowed by traditional Chinese performers, browse the newly extended craft market and enjoy a delicious array of Asian foods.
To help you be a part of this year’s magic, we have a family ticket for two adults and two children to give away to one reader of TheJournal.ie‘s Family Magazine.
